What Floorplan does
Floorplan has Claude Code or Codex read your codebase and draw an interactive map of it. Every part, file and web request gets a plain-English name ("Takes card payments at checkout" instead of "Stripe API wrapper"), and it matches each request in your frontend to the server endpoint that answers it, even across separate repos. You can zoom from the whole app down to one file, or start from a screen you know and see everything behind it. A health check flags keys left in code, open Supabase tables and Firebase rules, Stripe webhooks that could be faked and endpoints anyone can call. A Recent work view shows what your AI just changed and why. It needs Node 18 or newer, has no dependencies and no API keys, and runs on your machine.

Tip: Run the health check before you launch or take payments, and fix the red items first. The map lives in a floorplan/ folder that is not meant to be committed, so add it to .gitignore if your agent has not.

Floorplan FAQ
Is Floorplan free?
Yes. It is open source under the MIT license. You only pay for the Claude Code or Codex plan you already use.
Does Floorplan send my code anywhere?
Floorplan itself runs locally with no API keys. Your coding agent reads the code the same way it does for any other task.
Can Floorplan find security problems?
Its health check looks for common ones in AI-built apps, like keys in code, open Supabase tables, open Firebase rules and webhooks that can be faked. It is a first pass, not a full security review.
