unslop on GitHub: what it does and how to use it with AI agents

What unslop does

unslop, by designer Damir Sokolovsky, is a skill that first lists the signs of vibecoded UI on a screen (purple gradients, glows, emoji labels, shouty copy, uneven spacing) and where each one lives. It then proposes a direction taken from your product before it edits anything, and fixes the screen in passes: spacing, color, icons, copy, type, layout, details, visuals and motion. It works with Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte, Tailwind or plain HTML and CSS, and can work from a live site link. If a screen is already good, it says so and suggests small refinements instead.

People who built an app with an AI builder or coding agent and want it to stop looking like every other AI-made app.

How to use unslop with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor

1. Claude Code: git clone https://github.com/heydamir/unslop, then mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r unslop/skills/unslop ~/.claude/skills/
2. Codex: $skill-installer install https://github.com/heydamir/unslop/tree/main/skills/unslop
3. Run it: /unslop this dashboard in Claude Code, or $unslop this dashboard in Codex.
4. For live-site snapshots, install Playwright in your project: npm install -D playwright, then npx playwright install chromium.

Tip: Let it finish the audit and direction step before approving edits, since that is where you steer it. If it suggests generating hero images through fal, Replicate or OpenAI, it shows the prompt and asks first, because those calls cost money.
