The AI Loadout

How to write SEO Blog Posts with an AI agent

Have the agent research what searchers want, outline from real sources, draft, and then you edit and fact check. Give it a writing skill with your voice rules so drafts stay consistent. Google ranks helpful content, not how it was made, but mass-produced pages with little value can be treated as spam.

Claude Code

  1. Save your style rules as .claude/skills/blog-voice/SKILL.md
  2. Add a research tool like Firecrawl MCP for source pages
  3. Ask: "Research <keyword>, list the questions people ask, and draft an outline with sources."
  4. Review, then ask for the draft

Codex

  1. Put the same skill in .agents/skills/blog-voice/
  2. codex exec "draft posts/keyword.md from outline.md using the blog-voice skill"

Cursor

  1. Put the skill in .agents/skills/ or .cursor/skills/
  2. Write in markdown in your site repo and preview it before you publish

Grok Bot

  1. Ask Grok Bot to research the topic and draft the post with sources
  2. It can also check your Search Console data if you connect it

Gotchas

  • Fact check every number and quote. Agents invent them.
  • Do not publish dozens of thin pages at once.
  • Add what only you know, like tests you ran.
