How to browse the Web with an AI agent
Install Microsoft's Playwright MCP server and your agent can open pages, click, type and read what is on screen. One command adds it to Claude Code or Codex, and a short JSON block adds it to Cursor. Grok Bot already has its own browser on its cloud computer.

Codex
codex mcp add playwright npx "@playwright/mcp@latest"Ask Codex to open the page and report what it sees
Cursor
Add to .cursor/mcp.json: {"mcpServers":{"playwright":{"command":"npx","args":["@playwright/mcp@latest"]}}}Approve tool calls as they come up
Grok Bot

Gotchas
- Any page the agent reads can try to give it instructions. Do not point a browsing agent at your bank or email with full permissions.
- Browser automation is slower than an API. Use an API or MCP server for the service if one exists.
